Justin was appointed to serve as pastor of Swanton Trinity in July 2021. He grew up in the small northwest Ohio town of Forest, OH with his younger brother and sister. He graduated from Riverdale High School in 2008.

Justin has a B.A. in Music from Bluffton University in Bluffton, OH from which he graduated in 2012. As a music major, Justin's primary instrument of study was the French horn. While a student, he served as the Director of Choirs and Director of Music Ministries at Bluffton First United Methodist Church.
Following graduation, Justin felt his call to ministry while serving as the music director on a Chrysalis Flight in the Greater Findlay area. Since then, he has served in the church professionally as both a pastor and an associate pastor. Justin is currently pursing his Master’s in Divinity at the Methodist Theological School in Ohio located in Delaware and expects to complete his degree in Spring 2023.

Justin is loved and supported in ministry by his wife Kayla, to whom he was married in 2015, and their beautiful daughter, Merida. He is just as loved by their dog, Rudy, and parakeet, Demi.
